Kelli Ruth, Principal
Kelli Ruth is the principal of Lumberton Elementary School, bringing 28 years of experience in education, including 20 years serving students and families in Lamar County. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of roles including classroom teacher, interventionist, lead teacher, and assistant principal. Mrs. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Reading Education from the University of Southern Mississippi, as well as a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Mississippi. Her extensive background and passion for student success guide her leadership at LES.

Libby Watson, Lead Teacher
Libby Watson is the Lead Teacher of Lumberton Elementary School. With 17 years of experience in education, she has served in a variety of roles including English Language Arts teacher, interventionist, lead teacher, and assistant principal. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Ms. Watson furthered her education by acquiring a Master's in Curriculum & Instruction as well as a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. Ms. Watson believes that true leadership is founded upon service - service to the students, parents, teachers, and community of Lumberton.
